I like the term ‘deja moo’ (from the Urban Dictionary) and have adopted it as one of the categories for my blog.
It’s used whenever you get a sense that you’ve heard that BS before – and most likely, here, will be linked to gender stereotypes and any other baseless pop-psychology, ‘old chestnuts’ that keep ‘doing the rounds’ largely unchallenged.
